Refund Policy
All Sales Final on Food Products
Because Lancaster Pickle Company sells food products, including pickles and other consumable items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, ordering the wrong item, taste preference, or after an order has been delivered. Please review your order carefully before checking out.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Quality Issues
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, is missing an item, or you believe a product has a quality issue, contact us within 48 hours of delivery through our Contact Us page. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging when applicable. Please do not consume a product if its seal is broken or you have a food-safety concern.
We will review the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund. Please contact us before discarding or shipping anything back; do not mail food products back unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has been processed or shipped.
Shipping and Refund Timing
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post it. Shipping charges are not refundable unless required by law or the refund is due to an error on our part.
Your Legal Rights
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law. If you have a question about an order, please reach out through our Contact Us page.
Inspect on arrival & report within 48 hours
Open and inspect your order promptly upon delivery and refrigerate products immediately. Report damaged, leaking, warm, incorrect, missing, or other quality-related items to hello@lancasterpicklecompany.com within 48 hours of the carrier-recorded delivery time.
Include your order number, affected items and quantities, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the affected containers, lids or seals, outer shipping box, and insulation and ice packs. For temperature concerns, tell us when the package was opened and refrigerated and include a temperature reading if available. Do not taste or consume affected products if they arrive warm, leaking, with a broken seal, or otherwise appear unsafe. Do not delay reporting a concern while gathering photos.
We review each claim and, when appropriate, offer a replacement or refund. Claims reported after 48 hours may not qualify. Nothing in this reporting requirement limits rights available under applicable law.
